Please be aware that there is some maintenance taking place on the Movie Set over your selected dates. This work will continue from 1 June – 30 September 2025. During this time, the main tour route will be unaffected however some contractors, maintenance and construction equipment will be working on site in the gardens and rear of the Party Field during your experience. Bag End, Bagshot Row and The Green Dragon Inn will not be affected.

With a warming mulled wine in hand, relax by the roaring fire inside The Green Dragon™ Inn before heading to the Party Marquee to enjoy a fully themed mid-winter buffet dinner fit for a Hobbit™.
Hobbiton is an experience to tantalise the senses, as guests find themselves engulfed in the sights, smells, sounds and tastes of the Shire, at the home of the Hobbits, as featured in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit Trilogies. Your guide will escort you through the twelve-acre site recounting fascinating details of how the movie set was created. Throughout the movie set you will see 44 complete Hobbit Holes™ including the famous Bag End, venture beyond the door of one of the newly completed interior Hobbit Holes on Bagshot Row™, the thatched Millhouse, double arch stone bridge and of course the famous Green Dragon Inn.
Your tour will conclude at the masterfully recreated Inn and waiting for you will be our specially brewed mulled wine. Enjoy your hot mulled wine in the cosy interiors with ample time to relax and warm up in front of the open fire places.
Enjoy a selection of Hobbit-sized canapés on offer as you enjoy the themed entertainment before following your guide up to the Party Marquee for a full buffet dinner bursting with traditional Hobbit fare - and, as is the tradition in the Shire, second helpings are encouraged!
To conclude this premium Hobbiton Movie Set experience, after dinner you will re-join your guide and make your way back through the wandering paths of Hobbiton with path lighting to show the way. This stunning journey under moonlight will travel through the village breathtakingly lit up with Hobbit Hole chimney’s smoking and lanterns glowing against the darkness.
